Do yourself a favour and make this amazing Nutty Avocado Broccoli Sauce and have it sitting in your fridge for a quick flavour burst in your salad, spread on your raw bread, on your raw wraps and even as a dip!
I always find when I get my kids to help me make raw food dishes in the kitchen they seem to want to try it without hesitation!
So today I got my daughter Lexi to help me make a delicious Nutty Avocado Broccoli Sauce for us to use during the week on salads, as a dip or spread.
Its super quick and easy to make and it tastes amazing! Both of my kids loved it on a
2/3 cup cashews preferably soaked
2 cups basil leaves
Juice of 1 lemon
1 medium broccoli head roughly chopped
3 tablespoons of tahini
1 teaspoon of mustard powder
1.5 tab tablespoons of miso paste
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt/himalayan salt
3 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
3 cups cherry tomatoes cut in half
Blend all (except tomatoes) in the blender on medium speed until you create a smooth but slightly chunky sauce. If nuts have not been soaked add a little water if sauce is too thick.
Then stir through the tomatoes. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container until needed.
